Some Kitsune are able to spit fire every time they blow hard. These Kitsune are able to cause fires during the night and that's why this phenomenon is called "Kika": the fire of the devil.

The Bridge of Surprise

Appearance :

Yamanashi Prefecture 山梨県

At the Akasaka bridge, between the hamlets of Ozaki and Hara, pieces of red beans are sometimes scattered.

Strangely, one can hear the sound of a person using a colander with red beans but no one is there. Neither on the bridge, nor underneath! It is said to be the work of a Kitsune, having fun watching the passers-by amazed by the phenomenon that is beyond their understanding.
