Sometime after midnight, I’m stirred awake by some stirring in the kitchen. My lips curve into a grin as I imagine Vivian making herself at home in my apartment. I like the sound of that.

Wanting to find out if it looks as good in person as in my head, I tug on the jeans I left on the floor last night and pad out of my room. Clad only in a T-shirt and a pair of short shorts, Vivian reaches up on her tiptoes, flashing a nice bit of ass as she does it. My dick springs to life in appreciation of the view.

“Can I help you find something?”

She freezes and turns slowly. “I was just going to get some water.”

“Cups are in the next cupboard over.” I narrow the distance between us and grab one for her.

“Thanks,” she says, staring down at the cup in her hands. “Thanks again for letting me crash here. Playing house with Whitney and her boyfriend didn’t sound like much fun.”

“I can appreciate that.”

Just like I can appreciate how much I’d like to keep playing house with her. Without thinking, I reach out to brush aside a lock of strawberry blonde hair that’s fallen out of the messy bun on top of her head. Her gaze flickers back up to mine and her lips part.

And. I. Fucking. Lose. It.

With a groan, I cup the back of her head with one hand and her ass with the other, dragging her closer to me. Her hands slide around my waist as my mouth lowers to capture hers. Her eyelids flutter shut and she sighs, which only further excites me.

“God, you’re incredible,” I mutter against her lips, before urging them open with my tongue.

She obliges, and I grow even harder as our tongues meet and she matches me beat for beat. It’s a kiss that’s gentle yet untamed. Hungry and satisfied. Searching and found. None of those should come together or make sense, yet somehow they do. Because the passion pouring out of our kiss feels more right than anything else in my life ever has.

Vivian’s hips wriggle against me, and I know this can’t just stop with a kiss. Not unless she says it does. God, I hope she doesn’t say it does.

Tearing my lips from hers, I move them over the curve of her neck even as my hand bunches the shirt up at her waist.

“Come to bed with me?” I ask, resting my forehead against her shoulder.

I feel her chin bob up and down. “Yes, please.”

I grin. I can’t wait to get my hands all over this gorgeous woman.
