As we’ve seen, the seasons are often the reasons for why we behave the way we do and why we seek certain things. Have you identified the key issues of the stages in your life? What great issue is most critical to you right now, and what effect will it have on your efforts in church planting? What about your spouse? Your children?

We’ve seen that the struggle to plant a church will expose weaknesses and magnify personal flaws for everyone to see. You don’t need to be perfect to pursue this future, but you do need to have a good bit of self-understanding. And as much as you do understand about yourself, be sure that you’re about to learn a good deal more.
