Krakens

The first entity I would like to introduce you to is a kraken. Krakens have been written about for centuries and are usually depicted as the attackers of large ships. In real life, krakens actually do look like giant octopi, and the kraken legend is usually related to the giant squids that exist in real life in our oceans today. But kraken allies are separate entities that exist in the astral realm.

Like most astral entities, krakens are widely misunderstood. It is natural for humans to fear things that we know little about. Unlike what happens in the stories about them, krakens do not usually sink ships or chase after people who bear “the black spot,”*3 but they can exist in astral (spirit) form on our ocean floor and can exert real influence on our physical ocean.

I began dreaming with krakens several years ago when I first entered adulthood. In one of my dreams, I was swimming in the ocean when I felt this sucking sensation at my feet that felt like an extremely strong vacuum. It felt as though it was trying to pull me underwater, so I panicked. I kicked and flailed and tried to get away. The sucking sensation stopped for a moment, and I suddenly realized that I was in a dream (which made it a lucid dream).

Since I knew I was dreaming, I understood that I could not die, so I decided to stop fighting and see where the sucking sensation would take me. I stopped resisting and started being pulled underwater. It seemed as if I would never reach the bottom. I must have floated downward several thousand feet before I finally landed at the bottom of the ocean floor.

In real life, my body would have been crushed by the weight of the water, but things work differently in the spirit world, and we are able to access areas that are not necessarily possible for our human bodies. Even though I was far enough away from the surface for it to be pitch black, I was able to see due to the aura of the water molecules I was immersed in. Spirit water glows for me, and I never experience total darkness while underwater in the astral realm because of that quality.

After I landed at the bottom, I became aware of a giant mass in front of me. It looked like a muted purple mountain until it reached one of its arms toward me and pulled me closer. I realized that I was staring up at a giant octopus. I stood (well, f loated) completely still for a few seconds while the kraken scanned my energy. I think it was deciding whether I would be able to understand it. Then it placed one of its tentacles on my third eye chakra between my eyebrows. What I experienced next is hard to describe. I did not necessarily hear a voice talking to me, but I felt vibrations go straight through my body that translated into words in my brain.
