You can and should vary the order in which they get to train. But one caveat: if you have a dog who is much pushier or quick to take a mile when you give him an inch, then that dog should go last until his impulse control and pushiness improves. If that behavior varies with the day, then whoever is most patient goes first and so on. Reward appropriate behavior and it gets better from there!

Vary the rewards that you use when training. Of course, treats should be number one on your list but make sure that you vary among the types of treats within any given training session. But don’t stop there. Toys, petting, tug, hugs, etc. Make a list of everything each dog considers a reward and use all that apply when training them.
