Sherri had no recollection of how she and Silas made it to her bedroom, and at this point, she didn’t want to think about it too hard. But there they were, with his mouth upon hers, his tongue taunting, withdrawing every time she tried to capture it.

His hands slid up and down her body, exploring the new curves she had acquired from her pregnancy. She was well on the way to losing the baby weight, but there was no doubt that she had gone up a cup size, and her hips had a flare that hadn’t been there before.

Silas seemed to be loving it. She thanked God she was still using her nursing blouses and bras, because before she knew it, Silas had her top buttons open and the front closure of her bra had given away.

“You’re gorgeous,” he groaned, before bending his head to capture a dark nipple between his lips.

She panted under his ministrations, and he laughed. He finished removing both blouse and bra and then backed her until the backs of her knees met the edge of the bed. There was nothing she could do but fall backwards onto it. She felt the firm mattress beneath her, and the weight of his body on top of her, keeping her imprisoned in the most pleasurable way possible.

She pressed up against his long, lean body, and surprised herself by giggling, “Your body feels good. Hard.”

His hand was soon snaking its way up her skirt, tripping along the bare skin of her thighs until it found her panties. He ran his fingers over them and then swiftly pulled them down her hips. Instead of removing her skirt, he rolled it up until it became a thick bundle around her hips.

“Sherri, I want you, all of you, but…” He paused. “I don’t want to hurt you. You know, after the baby.”

She understood what he was asking and hastened to reassure him. “It’s fine. I promise. You won’t hurt me.”

He searched her face anxiously, and then a slow smile spread across his face. “Good. Good.” He kissed her tenderly and then got up off the bed. “I’ll be right back.”

He disappeared from her room and reappeared so fast she guessed he’d run over to his room in record time. In his hand was a box of condoms, and she felt both gratitude and relief. He was prepared to protect them.

She lay back and closed her eyes as he eased into her with extreme gentleness, still careful even though she had assured him she would be fine. She closed her eyes, getting used to the feel of him once again, after so long. Silas began kissing her with fervor and she responded just as passionately and wrapped her arms around him. When he finally began to thrust within her, she wrapped legs around him, her body remembering what he felt like, and the way they fit together. It was perfect.
