“Ha!” the fairy laughs

and flies away.

Hissy returns

with her hiccup potion.

She does not see the new

note on the ragdoll’s back.

She pours a few drops

into the ragdoll’s mouth.

“Greetings from me to Sam,”

she laughs. “Hee, hee … hic!”

Hissy hiccups and hiccups.

She cannot stop it.

”Hic! What is going on? Hic!”

she shouts.

”You got in trouble,”

says the magpie. ”I told you so.”

”Hic! I do not understand this.
