Chapter Nineteen

“TELL ME ABOUT sounding.”

Rain almost choked on his coffee when Gabe asked the question. “What?”

“I heard you’re the go to man when it comes to sounding. I looked on the internet and it was quite informative—”

“You want to try that?” Rain cut in.

“Probably not? But I heard that’s how you met Master Zachary and Rupert.”

“It is. It was about, god, six years ago now?” Rain shook his head. Time sure did fly by. “It was a club we were all members of, but for one reason or another we had never really sat down and talked to each other. I did the demo, and they both came and talked to me afterward. A few people watching didn’t like it, and a couple had no problem letting me know.”

“Why?” Gabe tilted his head. “Everyone has their kinks or they wouldn’t be going to a place like that.”

“Exactly. Zach shot them down and told them to fuck off and not watch it in the future, if they didn’t like it. He gets some shit because he’s a Daddy Dom. Some within the community don’t like Daddy Doms, but at Lock and Key we have a few. Word got out that we welcome them and that Zach is one too. It helped to get our club out there when we first opened the doors.”

“Are you worried about it? Being called a Daddy Dom?”

Rain reached across the table and took Gabe’s hand in his. “If I was, we wouldn’t be here now, and the scene we played on Friday wouldn’t have happened. It’s clear you like a harder style of punishment, and that’s something I can handle well. The after care is a little different, but I enjoyed it.”

Gabe gave him a slow smile. “I did too. How did you know how to put the”—Gabe pointed down the table—“diaper on?”

Rain waved. “Never gonna live it down, but Zach helped me.”

“He’s nice.”

“He isn’t, and he won’t ever let me forget that he helped me out.”

“I’ll take care of you, if he does.” Gabe’s voice dropped, and Rain’s dick hardened.

Rain coughed. “That’s nice to know.”

“I filled the form out.” Gabe licked his lips and looked at Rain through his lashes. “It was very…interesting.”

“How much did you google?”

“Er, a few things.” Gabe pulled it from his jacket and slid it across the table to Rain. Rain picked it up and quickly glanced at the pages.

“I’m a no to a lot of these too. Just not for me. I’ve done a few once, and once was enough.”

“Which ones?”

“Showers.” Rain arched a brow and had to hold back a laugh when Gabe mimed throwing up. “I was young and curious. Like I said, once was enough.”

“I wouldn’t even do it once. You’re far braver than I am.”

Rain smiled and sipped his coffee. “I was young and curious about the scene. Once I knew it was what I wanted, I jumped in with both feet.”

“What about blood play?” Gabe whispered the words blood play.
