Kendra was buried blissfully up to her collarbone in papaya-scented bubbles and warm water when Eoin came in with the tray.

“What…”

She instantly bolted upright. The chilled air against her breasts reminded her that she had further exposed herself to her husband, and she hurriedly slumped back into the sudsy, warm water, but not before she saw the flames catch in his heather eyes.

“Prisca says you’re not feeling well.” He sat the bamboo tray on a stand near the tub and dragged over the vanity stool for himself.
