Dressed in Alfani, Zane caught an Uber into town. He carried a plastic bag of clothes that he’d stolen off the homeless woman. He tossed it in the garbage and entered Paradise Hair Salon. A purple-haired gal with hoops in her lip said hello.

Zane smiled, noticing how her breasts almost fell off the counter. “You have a few minutes to work on me?”

“Yep, had a cancellation.”

He pointed to his dark hair. “I’m digging your purple, love. But figuring blonde with the job interview coming up.”

“I’m thinking with your eyes hon, you can do anything. Got a name?”

“Charlie,” Zane said. “Charlie Spencer.”

“Alright, hon. Let’s make Charlie happy today.”
