When it gets too loud,

I don’t yell

or run away.

I put on my headphones.

I have them with me everyday.

I helped pick them out!

There were lots of different kinds.

Some were big;

some were small.

Some had colors and designs.

My ears are very special.

They hear every kind of sound.

My brain can't block the extra noise and it makes my head pound.

Sometimes it's too loud, but I know what to do!

I put my headphones on my ears and noise does not get through.
