If you answered “yes” to four or more of the questions, read on to learn why working a room will maximize your chances of finding the love you seek.

MAKE IT A HOBBY: SIX STEPS TO BEING A SOCIAL BUTTERFLY

I have never had conventional hobbies. I don’t ski, cycle, scuba dive, paint, garden, or bake. I do have one favorite pastime, however: working a room. I come alive at cocktail parties, conferences, awards dinners, networking events, or charity functions. No matter how tired or exhausted I am, put me in a room of strangers and I’m in my glory. I love meeting new people, finding out what makes them tick, what they like, where they live, what they do, who they know, what they enjoy, and so on. I love making strangers feel comfortable, making them laugh, and enjoying the spontaneity and adventure of connecting. I never know who I may meet or how they may enrich my life.

For most people, working a room is not a favorite pastime. I hope to change that for you. The benefits of working a room can outweigh the discomfort that situation makes you feel. Trust me!
