HOW TO WIN
A player wins by sinking his opponent’s entire fleet.
NOTE
For faster play, whenever a player scores a HIT, he gets to take another shot immediately. Only when a player misses does the other player begin to shoot.
TIP
Until you’ve got some HITs and have begun to hone in on ship locations, don’t waste shots by calling two adjacent coordinates (A-1 and A-2, or A-1 and B-1). Since all ships except the submarine are at least two squares long, your early shots are more deductively effective if you space them apart by at least one coordinate.
