pean in feature and dress, but a few Polynesians lay among the bodies, as well. Some lay on the floor. Others sat in chairs. But they all had one thing in common.

They had died in excruciating pain. Their faces were frozen in eternal agony.

Bolan saw a couple of men with crime scene kits. They had on blue nylon jackets with the letters DEA printed in white across the back. Others wore jackets that said BATF.

"Until you prove it was drugs, we're not going anywhere" Bolan heard an angry voice say from across the room. "Besides that, they could have had drugs and guns, and that lets us in on the game, too."

The soldier followed the voice. Two men stood in the corner of the large sitting area he had just entered. As frequently happened among law enforcement agencies, it appeared that the men arguing were more interested in who had jurisdiction than they were in solving the crime. Which didn't matter much to him. Let them argue. It would keep them out of his way.

Shouldering his way through the crowd, Bolan flashed his Justice Department credentials to both men.

"Oh, great," said the DEA man. "More problems with you?"

"No," the Executioner said politely. "You aren't going to have any problems with me. In fact, I'm anxious to get off your boat and back to what I'm already involved in." Susan Ogatu stepped to his side and smiled.

The frowns on the DEA and ATF men's faces suddenly disappeared.

"Give us a quick run-down on what happened, we'll be on our way, file our report and stay out of your hair," Bolan said.

Once again, Ogatu's presence and the sexual charisma that leaped from her body had combined with the Executioner's natural ability to take command. The men became cooperative. "My name's Cutsman," the DEA man said. "This is Jake Peterman." None of them bothered to shake hands, and the Justice ID the Executioner had shown him seemed to be all the introduction Cutsman wanted from the trio who had just come on board.
