Attention: You have received a mild concussion. While this effect lasts, you might experience problems with your balance and vision, or other similar symptoms.

I get - mostly - up, and Zoltan starts healing me, just my health, of course, since he is not able to cure these conditions yet. Technically, however, we are currently in combat, so he only has a few spells before he runs out of mana. It still takes me up to almost my max health.

I realise a fault in the plan - I wanted to sprint around the pool, but I can't, because of my leg. Also, now there is a chance to lose my balance, because of the concussion, so I really shouldn't go too close to the pool or the edge of the platform. On the other hand, it seems that once the doll was destroyed, the Faerie turned physical, or phased in, or whatever, but I can probably damage it then.

Climbing up the side of the platform again, I wait for a flash. After it passes, I put up my head again, and analyse the situation. Similar to the original picture, with one exception: the Faerie is not in the middle of the pool any more. I approach her, then probe the once again translucent body with my spear. As expected, the spear passes through her, and she ignores me.

With a quick hand movement, I take another doll, and throw it directly to the pool. Without waiting for the result, I grab the spear with both hands, and stab the body of the boss. Hit! She screeches again, and shoots some white rays towards me. With my reduced mobility, the only way to dodge it is to drop my body on the floor, which is exactly what I do. Good choice, since at this very moment there is a new flash - another one out of the schedule - and I am trying to grab something - anything - to hold me in place. I do stay there, but my foe is pushed just beyond the platform edge. Instead of falling, however, she floats in the air, and the miasma, that still connects her to the pool, seems to stretch out, and snap her back. She starts moving towards me again, but quickly phases out, and stays right there, translucent and motionless.

The rest of the bossfight is anticlimactic, doesn't require any creativity, just precise timing of my attacks between the normal flashes, the ones caused by the dolls being thrown in the acid pool and the evasion of the magical attacks from the Faerie, until she phases out. Finally, after my last attack - I need to repeat this at least 25 times - she collapses. I am at about half health, and tired from concentrating for so long. As her miasma disappears, the light of the pool gradually fades, and there are no more flashes. I am relieved, and sit down next to the body to see what loot you can get from a boss.
