Chapter Seven

“No,” I said. My throat was raw. I swallowed. “Not too much, Dorian. Not with you.”

Not ever with you.…

He bent and kissed the tear-tracks from my face, tenderly, and I lifted a tentative hand to caress the line of his cheek and jaw. My skin still felt suffused, irritated and aroused. I could feel the bulge through his pants, hard against my butt, and I wanted him inside me.

I twisted in his lap and dropped my hands to his belt and tugged it loose.

“Don’t stop,” I said. “Not now.”

He made a low moan and tipped back my head, kissing me fully and thoroughly on the mouth. I fumbled with his fly, loosened it, and slid my hand under the elastic of his boxer briefs, encircling his cock and stroking it to the rhythm of his mouth. The skin was velvety under my palm, sliding over the hard shaft.

He broke off the kiss, capturing my wrist and pulling my hand from his erection as he pushed me down, face-first, onto the rug. I looked back over my shoulder to see him peeling off his pants and socks—he had discarded his shoes at some earlier moment, without my noticing. He pushed my thighs apart and knelt between them, slipping his arm under my hips and tilting them up as he moved over me, his mouth sliding across my back as his erection pushed deep into me.

I shuddered as we met, my hands bunching into fists against the carpet. He stopped kissing me and began to move, each stroke ending with a hard thrust that stole a gasp from my throat. I was still so close to the edge, so close, but I couldn’t quite reach it, not yet. His breath came harsh in my ear, his body skimming across mine, pushing against the deep place that throbbed with need. I pulled my knees up a few inches to get purchase against the rug, and then I was rocking, too, rocking into each stroke. It was almost enough—almost.

“Harder,” I said.

He drove into me, and there it was, the ragged edge of pain that twisted up through the wash of other sensations, drilling into my brain. I was making noises now, mewling and gasping, but I didn’t care. It built up and up until it washed over to drown me, carrying me deep into a dark, glorious place, an ecstasy with teeth in it that tore me into a million shards.

And Dorian was there in the darkness, with me, coming hard with me, inside of me as I cried out. It seemed like an eternity before it faded away, leaving me lying limp and spent on the parlor floor. Dorian’s arms wrapped around me again, and he turned me against his chest, his head bent against my shoulder and his breathing coming fast and harsh.

I lay slack in his embrace, with only enough strength to cradle his head with one hand, running my fingers through his hair. It was several minutes before I dropped my arm, rolling reluctantly out of his arms and pushing to my feet.
