The possibilities are endless: meeting a stranger in a bar and having a passionate one-night stand; prison guard and prisoner; sex with another woman (this could be either of you!); vampire and virgin; sex with another man (again, either of you); doctor or nurse with a patient; James Bond and Bond girl; a threesome; superhero and his/her love object; Han Solo and Princess Leia; watching your partner with someone else; being seduced by a powerful but emotionally repressed businessman, and so on.

Obviously some of these are easier to role-play than others – but you don't have to act them out in full to enjoy incorporating them into your sex lives. Start small, and slow; make sure you're comfortable sharing your innermost desires. Talk about them when you're getting intimate; for example, with the 'sex with another person' scenario, you could give a running commentary of exactly the kind of thing you fantasise about doing with them, and re-enact just that aspect. Or if you can't, or don't want to, re-enact your fantasy with your partner (for example, the threesome scenario, or a lesbian encounter), just talking about it out loud might well be enough to inject some extra passion into the proceedings. Alternatively, keep your fantasies to yourself and use your imagination as another accessory to reach new heights of passion. This can give you just as much of a thrill, as your mind takes you into kinky realms of pleasure made just for you.
