O You Who Take a Thousand Shapes,

As my daughter discerns the biggest decisions in her life, may she trust the wisdom within herself that is your Spirit.

Whether she marries or remains single,

has children or does not,

works at home or away from it,

may she feel the dignity of her own autonomy.

May she always believe that her life serves a great purpose, however she spends her days. May she find meaning in the small accomplishments as well as the large ones.

My hope for my daughter is that she would feel confident in her own life choices: not comparing herself to another, not wondering if she chose wisely.

Give her keen vision as she makes vocational choices. May she know herself deeply and make decisions from that place of knowing.

Give me the grace to support her in whatever she decides. May the practice of trusting my daughter help me to trust myself.
