SUMMER

Ihaven’t been touched like this in a long, long time. And never as passionately or as reverently as Dash is doing to me right now. We started the night pushing each other’s buttons. I was trying to get him to snap. I was trying to force feelings to the surface. Problem is, I thought those feelings were only lust.

But this feels like more. I won’t ever say it, I know what he wants. It’s fun, without us having to say the words, I know this is a benefit situation until it’s time to move on. And for once in my life, I’m going to let go of feelings and just enjoy a man’s touch and have fun. I tell myself the lie that I can have fun without falling for something more.

I feel him slide inside me and I gasp. He’s big, thick and I need to move slowly to adjust.

“Is this ok?” he asks.

“Yeah.” I swirl my hips and he mimics the move, smiling up at me with those smug lips of his. We’re getting a good rhythm going, slow, sensual. I’m sitting higher than him so his face is tilted up to me. I trace his eyebrows and the lines around his eyes.

His hands are on my ass, kneading and lifting me as he slides inside. I clench, and his breath halts, his eyes wide. The left one seems to darken more so than the right. I kiss above it, on his brow, then the side. He closes them, and I kiss the lid. “You have beautiful eyes.” He pauses, then looks at me as something flashes across his face. It almost looks like panic.

I furrow my brows at the interruption. “What’s wrong?”

“Condom,” he blurts out, but for some reason I don’t feel this is what was on his mind. I have no choice but to slide off him as he quickly moves from the bed.

“Dash, it’s ok.”

He’s already in the bathroom and coming back out with the square packet, shaking his head. “This looks bad…” he says and trails off.

“What?”

“Jameson left these. He thought he was being funny when we went to the store the other day. I’m not… I haven’t …” He’s stumbling over his words, and it’s kind of funny that the grouchy, pain in the ass who’s quick to bark out words is at a loss for some.

I smirk, stand and meet him halfway, taking the packet and ripping it open. Slowly I tug on him, rolling the condom into place. His breath leaves him on a hard exhale as I grip him tight. Standing on my tiptoes I lick his earlobe and ask, “Can you fuck me now?”

The growl that comes from him almost makes me come on the spot. In one swift move, he’s got me on the bed and is inside me. His thrusts are sharp and hard, controlled, just like him. He’s got a hold of my thighs and is leaning back, watching where we connect.

“Are you happy now?”

“Very. Better question, are you happy?”

He smirks and pulls out, rolling me to my side.
