Even as hell yawned, the windows of heaven opened above us. Blessings poured down upon our heads beyond our ability to contain them. For two weeks we were taught by the Lord. Many of the spiritual gifts mentioned in the Scriptures became ours. Where doubt had existed faith now stood. We knew that He lived. Being driven to our knees, as it were, the Father took our outstretched hand and led us daily.

It took another four weeks for the drug to be cleansed from my body to the point where I was reasonably comfortable some of the time. I experienced crushing headaches throughout the balance of the summer of '75 and the prostate problem gave me little relief. I grew impatient with the Lord and pled for Him to heal me immediately. I knew He had the power to do so; I just couldn't understand why He didn't.
