FERAL CAT

CURET CATTUS

ORIGIN

By far one of the most numerous of all the bizarre breeds featured in this book. That’s because it wasn’t created to serve a purpose. It’s a mishmash of all the felines who were, at some point, either lost or simply discarded.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The typical Feral Cat can look like anything. Name a genetic combination, and chances are it already lurks in a vacant lot near you.

HEALTH

Not great. It’s understandable, given that, for a feral cat, “getting something to eat” often means fighting a raccoon for a discarded sack of French fries.

BREEDING

If Feral Cats have a superpower, it’s reproduction. The typical female produces fifteen litters of approximately ten kittens each annually. If she lives for ten years (quite an achievement for a Feral Cat), she’ll produce more than fifteen hundred offspring.
