Frontal collisions—Is there intrusion into patient compartment? Were restraints used? Did the air bag deploy?

Rear-end collisions—High potential for whiplash injuries. Were restraints used?

Lateral collisions—T-bone, were restraints used? Twenty-five percent of severe aortic injuries result from lateral MVCs.

Rollover collisions—Ejection or partial ejection. Were restraints used?

Rotational impacts.
