Follow Talbart St. for 0.1 mile, veer left onto Carquinez Scenic Dr. and go 0.3 mile to the John A. Nejedly staging area, left. The lower parking area has some shade; the upper area has spaces for horse trailers. The trailhead is at the west end of upper parking area.
