DIRECTIONS From Portland on OR 224, drive 44 miles southeast of I-205, through Estacada, to the ranger station at Ripplebrook. Turn right onto FR 46 and then, 3.6 miles later, right again onto FR 63. After 3.5 miles turn right onto FR 70 and drive 7.6 miles; turn left onto FR 7020. Drive 6.7 miles and turn left onto Spur Road 028, which is 0.6 mile past where Road 7030 comes in from the right. The trailhead is at the end of Spur Road 028, 0.1 mile ahead.
