Noah

I rest my forehead against hers, both of us struggling to catch our breath. Amara giggles and wraps her arms around me.

“That was better than in my fantasies,” she whispers.

I laugh and lower my lips to hers, kissing her tenderly. “It was. We didn’t use a condom, though. I brought some, but in the heat of the moment…”

She smiles at me and shakes her head before leaning in for a kiss. “It’s okay. I’m on the pill, and I’m clean. Considering that you’re a doctor, it’s probably safe to assume that you are too?”

I nod. “I am. I actually… well, I’ve never had anyone but you without a condom. No one but you has ever made me feel so out of control. I’ve never experienced anything like this before.”

She smiles at me and nods. “It’s the same for me.”

I smirk and turn us over, reaching between us to take off the toy she brought. “I like this thing. We’re using that again,” I murmur, placing it on my nightstand.

Amara giggles and nods. “It was good.” She settles in my arms, her head on my chest. We lie there together like that, just enjoying this moment, the tips of my fingers running over her skin. She presses a kiss to my neck, and I sigh in contentment. Having her in my arms… it’s unreal.

“I’m sorry for leaving you alone today,” I whisper as I thread my hand through her hair.

Amara pulls away and smiles at me, her eyes twinkling. “I got to spend the day with Nyx, so I didn’t mind it at all. I missed you, though. If I only get to have one week with you, then I want it all. You need to take me on a date, doctor dearest.”

I lean in for another kiss, my lips lingering. “I will, baby. Everything I’ve ever wanted to do with you, we’ll do.”

Amara nods, her gaze clearing, and I smile to myself, knowing what she’s suddenly curious about. “So… you spoke to Grayson?”

I smile smugly and nod. “Yeah, and I can be convinced to tell you all about it.”

“Oh yeah?”

I nod, and Amara giggles. “What will it take?”

“How about a kiss, for starters?”

She leans in and presses her lips to my neck, surprising me. She kisses my throat softly, taking her time moving her lips up to my ear. I groan and bury my hand in her hair, tightening my grip on her.

“Playing dirty, are we?”

She laughs, and the sound stirs my cock. “The more you tell me, the more I’ll give you,” she whispers, her voice husky.

I smirk, my eyes falling closed. This is a trap of my own making, but I don’t mind being her prey.

“He asked me all about you. Wouldn’t rest until I told him everything I know about you.”

“Everything?” She lowers her lips to my chest, and a moan escapes my lips when she sucks down on my skin, marking me as hers.

“Not everything. Some things are only for me to know, Amara.”

She pulls her lips away, looking at the damage she did with satisfaction.
