Cooper and I see each other every night for the remainder of the week, but come Friday we’ve made no plans, so when Alex suggests a night of cocktails and dancing at Passion, how can I say no?

I’ve somehow got through a week of wearing the clothes that I picked up on my shopping spree with Alex and although I was hoping the attention would die down, it doesn’t seem to show any signs of doing so.

This means that when Alex suggested our night out, it was in front of Alfie and a couple of other associates and has now turned into a work night out. I can’t say I’m excited by the prospect of a night clubbing with the same people I’ve been trying to avoid all week.

I’ve just finished putting on my make-up and curling my hair when Alex knocks on my front door. For my make-up, I’ve chosen to go with a simple light pink shadow blended into the crease of my eye and black-winged liner. On top of my foundation, I dusted over a baby pink blush, contoured to sculpt my features And coated my lips with a red lip stain, leaving them with a matte effect. I take a moment to admire my handiwork before I hurry down the hallway to answer the door.

Alex comes barreling in, a dress bag in hand, as I pull the door open for her. Taking a second to appreciate the dress she’s chosen to wear tonight, I give her a once over and wolf whistle as she twirls in the hallway. We break into a fit of giggles, both clearly having had a couple of shots before meeting up. Although her dress looks conservative with its high neckline and long sleeves, the dress stops just below her ass and has no back.

“I may have taken it upon myself to get you a dress for tonight,” she says sheepishly as our laughter subsides.

Thrusting the bag into my chest, she walks past me into the living room. Shutting the door, I follow behind her, pulling the belt of my robe tighter as I admonish her for having brought me yet another dress.

“Alex! Seriously, you didn’t need to buy me a dress. I have plenty I could have picked from.”

“They aren’t really for going out though, are they? Don’t forget I was with you when you brought them. I got you something sexy. Plus, you never know, you might go home with someone tonight.” She wiggles her eyebrows at me as she moves into the kitchen.

I follow in her wake, watching as she helps herself and pours us both a glass of wine before sliding mine across the counter.

“Are you going to look at it?” She asks, nodding her head toward the bag before bringing her glass up to her mouth to hide her smirk.

Okay, now I’m worried.

Unzipping the garment bag, I reveal the tiniest dress I’ve ever laid eyes on—and Alex is a fan of wearing very little, so I’ve seen some tiny scraps of material.
