Once the last part left his mouth though he found himself being stared at by the two other women who were clearly listening attentively.

The first one shook her head slightly while trying her hardest not look directly at anyone nearby anymore while the second woman merely snorted loudly beside her instead.

Both responses made him cringe inwardly somewhat before deciding he probably deserved both reactions anyways despite the fact that he was telling truth, "Sorry..." He muttered softly apologetically under his breath, "Didn't mean to make things awkward just now. But regardless, thank you again very much for sharing whatever information you can spare with us earlier still! It shall prove invaluable towards our future endeavors within the city itself henceforth henceforth henceforth from here on out."

With a wave of her arm she dismissed both men from their duties then proceeded onward further along its path without looking back once, leaving all behind without another word spoken between any of them thereafter for several minutes after their departure from sight again... Once completely outside of earshot though he sighed deeply before glancing over towards his companion briefly before asking, "So what exactly happened between those two tonight anyways? Did something serious go wrong?"

His companion shrugged lightly without bothering answering immediately however; simply choosing to continue following their leader silently instead. After awhile though eventually he began thinking aloud aloud though aloud though, "Well whatever happened between everyone today has definitely left quite an impact upon their mindsets at least judging by these new behaviors lately anyway... Hopefully though it will pass quickly soon enough anyways though if nothing else if only to restore peace amongst them once more."

The first man glanced upwards once towards where the moon would come into view soon enough as he answered quietly in agreement with that sentiment wholeheartedly, "Agreed completely my friend, agreed completely."

Raym was still waiting for his quest rewards. But he didn't complain about the delay, because that's what heroes did. They didn't need anything but quests and danger to satisfy their heroic needs. Raym needed no rewards. All he had to do to keep track of how close he was to becoming a god was check his level. Every ten levels he would unlock another tier in his power, bringing him ever closer to the day when he could take vengeance on Hell for killing his brother.

Raym looked out over the road, watching the sun set over the trees. Its bright golden rays illuminated the leaves of the forest around him and warmed his skin. Soon, those same rays would grow more crimson in color. Raym could almost see a bloody aura around each individual tree trunk.

Raym shook off the strange feeling, telling himself it was just a trick of the light. If he had stayed there staring into those fiery shades for too long, he would've become dizzy and disoriented. A part of him wanted to ignore those warning signs. After all, the longer he stared into the red and orange colors around him, the better they looked.
