If I did dream of anything, I did not recall it by the time I woke the next morning. Mira’s warmth, and Kacie’s and Mette’s soft breathing made the night pass easily and swiftly.

Although the night passed without Kacie’s fingers roving over my manhood, I still woke with the memory that she was pregnant with my child.

I smiled at the thought. My Debt required me to impregnate a number of women, but I was happy that the first had been Kacie. I was happy that the mother of my first child would be a woman that I actually cared for.

Ever since the mage had come and lit my home aflame, I’d had no one to rely upon. Ever since he’d slaughtered my family, my friends, even those few neighbors I’d held grudges against, I’d been alone.

But now, I had Kacie. And Kacie had my child inside her.

In a similar way, though they were untouched still, I had Mira and Mette, too.

And knowing that made me even happier, somehow, than Kacie’s fingers did.

Although I could certainly go for a little more of her fingers, too… If I’m honest.
