MORNING MEDITATION:
A Way to Clear Your Mind
It is now time to do a 7 minute meditation. For those who are experienced, you can get started as you already know the deal. For the beginners that are new to meditation, make sure to turn all electrical devices off or on silent then lay down on your back or sit upright in a comfortable position with your eyes closed for the entire duration of the music. It is important to find a relaxing position so you have the best chance at not shuffling and moving around during your meditation.
The goal is to have both your body and mind still. It may be a little unusual at first but you will notice the difference with ease by day 7.
You will naturally have thoughts pop into your mind but it is your duty to let them pass - watch them like clouds in the sky and don’t focus on them. Do not give them power to start worrying you. In these short 7 minutes, you are allowed to let all your worries go; all your concerns and the things you have to get done are not welcome! Be still, breathe, and release your air deeply and slowly notice each muscle relax.
