âââ
We sat, talking for hours about our childhoods, our hopes and dreams, and the future that lay before us. It was a beautiful moment. One Iâd never forget.
As we talked, the sun slowly descended and day turned to night. But neither of us wanted the night to end.
âDo you want to see your portrait?â
I smiled and nodded. âYes,â
He rose to his feet and held out his hand.
I took it, my heart fluttering as our fingers intertwined.
I followed him to the other side of his chamber, my eyes widening in surprise at the painting.
It was me - but not me. It was the woman I wanted to be, my inner strength and beauty captured on canvas.
Curly hair and deep brown eyes, my lips full and soft. Dressed in a gown, my confidence and grace shone through.
The image captivated me. A better version of me.
My eyes widened as I looked at the painting, my heart aching with emotion. âItâs beautiful. Is this what you see when you look at me?â
His hand squeezed mine. âI found it difficult to capture your true essence.â
I looked up and smiled, feeling strangely at peace. âThank you for capturing this moment,â I said softly. âBut why not the corset?â
He grinned, a hint of mischief in his eyes. âThatâs an image for me alone,â he said, pulling me close.
His breath was warm on my skin, and I shivered in anticipation. âItâs our secret,â he whispered, his lips brushing against mine.
My heart raced as I looked into his eyes, feeling like I was about to take a leap into the unknown.
How would it feel to submit to him? To fully submit to him?
I wanted to find out.
Control was a tricky thing. It could intimidate and paralyze, but it could also be liberating.
I feared Doranâs power and influence, but I also knew that it didnât have to mean the end of us exploring a physical relationship.
Fear shouldnât stop me from taking a risk and exploring something new.
I reached up and touched his face, my fingers tracing the contours of his strong jawline.
He closed his eyes and leaned into my touch, a soft sigh escaping his lips. âI can feel your heart.â His breath fanned my face. âI can please you, if you let me, Aleyna.â
How would it feel to submit to him?
My heart thudded in my chest, and I met his gaze. âYes,â I breathed. âI want to try.â
He smiled and leaned in, pressing his lips against my collarbone. Sharp teeth grazed my skin, and I shivered in pleasure.
âBut Iâm not looking for a moment of weakness,â he murmured, my skin tingling as his lips moved against mine. âIâd give you the world if you let me. The kingdom. Everything. It can be yours.â
I closed my eyes. I wanted to trust him and explore this newfound connection between us. But something inside me was hesitant. I had to be certain that I was safe and in control.
âI can feel your fear.â He breathed in my ear, his fingers lightly tracing patterns on my bare skin.
