Salad

4. Place the lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and onion in a large salad bowl.

Makes 4–6 servings

This traditional Middle Eastern salad is made of finely chopped parsley, tomatoes, and mint and a cracked wheat called bulgur. Serve it as a salad or spoon it into a pita pocket for a healthy sandwich.
