RED had brought her own contract. Of course she had.

She was new to this scene. Totally naïve when it came to the proper order of things in this world. Otherwise, there was no way she would’ve just presented two doms with a contract for them to sign.

It was kind of cute, really. Cute and very brave.

Zayne did his best to contain his laugh as she sat back in her seat and clasped her hands on the table, much the same way Ethan had done that night in their office. But if she thought she was running this show, she was in for one hell of a surprise.

“You brought us a contract.” It was more a statement than a question. Ethan reached for the papers and started to read through.

“Yes. I went online, did a quick search, and several came up. It was easy. This is the one I liked the most. I also added a few extra points that I’m interested in at the back there.”

“Did you now?”

Zayne snorted, and Ethan reached for the plate with the pastry and pushed it over in front of him, his message clear: If you can’t keep your mouth shut put something in it.

Zayne picked up the pastry.

“I did.” Chloé was all smiles, like she was onto something here.

“And you thought that was your place?” Ethan’s tone had taken on an edge that usually resulted in a good ass whipping or fucking, depending on his mood.

“I, uh…yes.” She bristled under his stare. “Since I’m the one you want to do all this to. Then yes, I do think it’s my place.”

“I see.” Ethan turned to Zayne and handed him the papers. “Thoughts?”

There was nothing Ethan took more seriously than discussions with a potential sub, and seeing as this was the groundwork for more than just a night, he was clearly focused.

Zayne flicked through the contract. It was extensive and very detailed compared to the one they’d given her. From the roles they would each play, to her availability, and the rules—all the strict rules she was agreeing to—it seemed too good to be true.

“I think this would be a very satisfying arrangement for all three of us. What do you think?”

“I’m in agreement.” Ethan looked back to Chloé. “And you’ve read this through? Front to back?”

“Yes. Of course I have,” she said.

“Uh huh.” Ethan slid out of the booth and moved over to her side. “Okay, then, let’s talk.”

Oh, you sweet, naïve little girl, Zayne thought, and sat back in his seat, more than ready to watch the real negotiation begin.
