Chapter 3: Breakfasts
Delicious Walnut Granola
Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 15 minutes | Serves 15
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup walnuts
½ cup shredded coconut
¼ cup maple syrup
¼ cup coconut oil
Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
In a bowl, mix the oats, walnuts, and shredded coconut thoroughly, then set aside.
In a small saucepan, combine the maple syrup and coconut oil and bring just to a boil.
Pour the warm maple and coconut oil mixture over the dry mixture. Mix to combine.
Spread the granola in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Let the granola cool completely before storing it in a glass container with a lid.
