Make It for the Whole Family

*On nights I cook whitefish prepared with a variety of ingredients, I always reserve a fillet for my kids that I cut up into finger-size pieces and simply season with salt. I cook it on the same pan as the other fish, but perhaps in a little foil “boat” to keep it away from other flavors.

◁ SHRIMP AND ZOODLES WITH FRESH TOMATO SAUCE

The key to making fresh tomato sauce is using perfectly ripe tomatoes and good olive oil. Never store whole tomatoes in the refrigerator. If your tomatoes aren’t fully ready, ripen them on the windowsill, checking on them each day. I usually buy vine-on tomatoes, which tend to be closer to ripe and more flavorful.
