Solution 1.

We need to give a simple check in a1 to h8 diagonal to checkmate the opponent’s king since it has no other escaping square!

1 .Qe5+!!, Bxe5; 2. Bxe5#, Although it’s a simple mate in two, we need to understand the core tactics included in these puzzles to have a better clarity.

In this position, the black Bishop is being deflected by the white Queen and removed from a good square. In addition, the Bishop is brought to a bad square, and the white Queen is being indirectly supported by the white Bishop!
