Chapter Eight

“You okay, baby?” I asked, when we on the road. I’d sent my new monster mate to ride with Janice, while I was going with Ginny. I did it that way for several reasons. I felt like I could protect Ginny now, and Nicole and Janice would be deadly together. I also wanted to make sure she was alright. Lastly, she was my advisor and I wanted to touch base on that level as well. Janice was too now I supposed, but Ginny was also a champion of the same goddess as I was.

Ginny laughed, “I am now. A little horny. Okay, crazy out of my mind want to fuck your brains out badly, but I’ll survive until we get back to Janice’s.”

“Home.”

She looked at me sharply, then smiled and nodded, “Home it is, but you haven’t seen my place yet. We can all use it when we’re in the city.”

“So, you want me?”

She giggled, “Goddess, your power makes me wet. You were amazing, and you’ll get even better when Janice figures out a training regimen for it. With your strength and speed while holding electricity, it’ll also make sense for you to learn the sword, or I suppose those silly sticks she uses would work too. The advantage in them is they look relatively harmless, just a wood stick a couple of feet long, so they’re easier to get by the humans without notice.

“Anyway, the way you fucked Nicole mercilessly added to that lust. You need to take me like that, my mate. Damn. I’d have probably Jilled off watching, if Janice wasn’t standing right next to me.”

I grinned, she was the mate that preferred and got off on sensuous and firm sex, not the crazy stuff, but she was a complicated woman. They all were I’d imagine, and I bet my Nicole would love it soft and slow from me, now that she was all mine and kittenish. Point being, they had their main preferences on what got them off best most of the time, but my sex life would be highly diverse with all of them.

“So, that’s our focus? Training.”

She nodded, “And after that display you can bet Lillian will be reassigned at some point. Once you master your abilities, there’s very few who could challenge you on this world. So they’ll be just as desperate to stop you, maybe even foolish enough to face Janice on her home ground.”

I shrugged, “There’s always someone bigger.”

She said, “Not necessarily bigger, we all have strengths and weaknesses, and some even weaker than you will be able to exploit yours. A son or daughter of Poseidon could give you a lot of trouble, water and electricity don’t mix well. Fortunately, that’s not very likely to happen. He doesn’t care all that much for his sister in law, if you know what I mean. Janice would also be a challenge if she wasn’t on our side, her mystical energy defends well from element wielders.”

I nodded, “She could probably block the conduit of power, and the lightning would fail to reach her at all.
