Finding the campground: Take I-64 east to exit 205, SR 33 headed west, then exit toward New Kent Airport. Merge onto New Kent Highway. Take a left onto US 60 east / Pocahontas Trail. Turn right onto SR 155 / North Courthouse Road, then left on Boulevard Road / SR 155. Turn left onto Sturgeon Point Road. Take a left onto John Tyler Memorial Highway / SR 5. Follow it to the park entrance.

About the campground: If you like to swim, this 140-acre park offers two outdoor pools. You can also explore the Chickahominy River and Gordon Creek by boat: Rent a canoe, kayak, or paddle-board, or bring your own. The Chickahominy Water Trail is one of several water trails in this area, routes that have been developed to highlight natural and historic sites along the river. There is a fishing pier and boat ramp available. Some campsites have a waterfront view, as this campground is situated on a bluff overlooking the Chickahominy River. Call the park office to reserve. Your camping fee includes use of the pool and the boat ramp.
