There remains nothing that needs to be conveyed to you. Yet, I write this to discharge a duty of mine. You will get to know the nature of that obligation when you read the other letter enclosed herewith. Instead of beating around the bush, let me come to the point straight away. I have given much thought to the matter of our relationship. Even before the advent of it,

feelings of void would invade me often. The desire to die would beleaguer me acutely and densely. The cause of genesis of those feelings is definitely not you. During the early stages of our relationship, it had considerably reduced even. But as the relationship progressed, the feelings of void began pervading more intensely and viciously. As of now, there’s no feeling in me except that. In me, there is nothing of affection, love, complaisance, enthusiasm, glee, or gentleness. The faculty to exude them is fully corroded in me. I am not writing this letter to devolve the blame onto you. Neither do I opine that you are responsible for this. But it is true that consequent to my relationship with you, the feelings of void and desire to die have become insurmountable in me. Wherefore it is necessary to stem this relationship.
