Quinn Brett works across the crux traverse of Finger Lickin’ Good on the Crescent Wall at Lumpy Ridge.
Rocky Mountain National Park offers excellent habitat for raptors, including eagles and falcons. Every year parts of the park are closed to climbing so nesting birds are undisturbed. These closures, from March through July, are usually at Lumpy Ridge and include Twin Owls, Batman Rock, Batman Pinnacle, and other cliffs. Closures also extend 100 yards in all directions from the rock formations and include descent routes and access trails. Check trailhead kiosks and www.nps.gov/romo for closure information.
