ROSE

“Please don’t stop.”

As the words leave my mouth, Zander’s soft eyes light up with passion. His grip on my face tightens, and his gaze flicks up to my lips before they lock with mine again. His touch is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. His soft hands cradling my face makes me feel wanted, protected, and… loved. Everything I’ve never felt in my life.

“No more tears, couch girl.” His lips press against my cheek, capturing a tear that has managed to escape. “You’ve had enough things to cry about. From today, no fears, and definitely no tears.”

His foreign words of concern break the dam of my emotions, and everything comes crashing down. I hide my sobbing face in his hard chest.

“Shh, Marr.” He strokes my back with his long fingers. Bending his knees, he lifts me off the ground.

“Zander!” I squeak.

“Shh.” His hands settle under my behind. My hands automatically lock around his neck and my legs around his waist, hugging him like a koala. He walks into the living room, carrying me as if I weigh nothing.

Holding me in his arms, Zander takes a seat on the couch. I try to move away from his lap, but his firm hold prevents my move.

“We were in the middle of something,” he whispers before relocking his lips with mine and continuing his magic, taking me someplace far away, where things aren’t scary.

He sucks and nibbles on my lips, his warm breath mixing with mine. Without hesitation, Zander pushes his tongue into my mouth, swiping my teeth before rolling it over my tongue. For one second, I think about how I didn’t brush my teeth after dinner. But in the next second, that thought is wiped away by his intoxicating touch.

My tongue hesitantly enters his mouth, and he sucks on it hard before biting and sending a jolt between my thighs. A loud moan escapes me, and his hips jerk forward in response. That’s when I feel him, big and hard.

Am I prepared for it tonight?

He places his forehead on my cheek and whispers in a husky voice, “Feel what you do to me.” When I tremble at the feel of his warm breath on my skin, he adds, “Don’t worry, we’ll ignore the little soldier today.”

“He doesn’t feel little,” I murmur back.

Zander chuckles before his voice gets serious. “I’ll never do anything without your permission, you know that right?”

“Yes.” I don’t need to think twice before answering. I trust him completely.

“That’s what’s important. And believe me, in the future, you will be glad he isn’t small.” He winks, making my entire body tingle with that dimple, which is so close to me today. “For now, let’s give him some room. Why don’t you get your laptop, and we’ll watch a movie? Meanwhile, I’ll try to bring the little guy down.”

I’ve never heard anyone talk about their private parts in the third person. I look down at his pants and notice the huge bulge. God! I can’t take my eyes off him. I’m
