Artists

While they may be known more for their pictures than their words, it isn’t a surprise that beautiful minds are capable of saying beautiful things. Artists reframe the way we see the world; they show us the mundane through a new set of eyes and manipulate form, color, and shape into keys that unlock new sensations. These are people who see the truth that lies beneath the dust or behind the shiny facade. Many great artists wear their hearts on their canvases, giving any perceptive onlooker a window to the soul. At least some of them do. Others paint really nice bowls of fruit that look great on office walls.

The other thing artists are particularly well-known for is being better appreciated after their deaths, which makes this a perfect time to appreciate these men and women.
