I let the information sink in, Kitty still hasn’t responded. “Take your next exit.”

I do as Kitty tells me and exit off the interstate. I follow her directions, “You see the sign for Anson Commercial Properties?”

“Yes,” I look up at the massive sign above the building.

“That’s where we are going.”

We pull in and park, “This won’t take but a minute.”

I follow Kitty as we are greeted by a receptionist, we continue past her and enter an open warehouse space at the back of the building. “Hey, what brings you two to this neck of the woods?” Uncle Bud walks towards us.

I look past him and see asshole Alex West sitting in a glass-enclosed office looking at a wall of blueprints.

“Congratulate Vivian, she is a valid driver now,” Kitty states as Bud kisses her cheek, “Well all right.” Bud holds up his hand giving me a high five.

“Thanks.”

“So now she needs a car, what can she drive?”

“Well, give me a sec and we can go see what’s in the back.”
