Running Back by Committee

In 2016, about half of the league used rushing attacks with at least two running backs. These units show a greater variety of fantasy point share distributions than those teams with clear cut number one running backs. On any week, there are multiple running backs who might produce the majority of a rushing unit’s fantasy points. This makes spotting the correct running back more difficult, but allows for more flexibility in choosing a running back from these teams.
