Adding a rounded rectangle

The text for the magazine cover is nearly finished being written by you. The only thing left to do is put the volume number in the upper-right corner where it belongs. To begin, you will begin by drawing a rectangle with rounded edges. This will act as the backdrop for the volume number that you will later draw.

Make a selection in the Tools panel using the Rounded Rectangle tool.

Create a rectangle in the area above the letter "L" in the upper-right corner of the cover. Make sure the right edge of the rectangle is aligned with the guidance. According to the Properties tab, the width ought to be around 0.34 inches.
