The checkbox is used for toggling Boolean properties—for example, if the player wanted to invert the y axis on their mouse, then you would use one of the following on a settings menu:

Style: You can define custom images and colors for the checkbox here

Appearance | Checked State: This changes the default state of the checkbox

The Image widget displays a texture. It can be a simple static image—for example, a background for the menu. It can also be changed during play—for example, an icon for the current weapon that the player is holding. Under this section, you have Appearance | Brush, which defines the texture or material that you can use.

Note that materials must use the UI Material Domain in order to be displayed.
