HSL, Color, B&W & Split Toning

The HSL, Color, B&W and Split Toning sliders can look slightly daunting to start with, as there are a multitude of sliders. They allow for much finer adjustments of specific colors in your photos and creative monochrome effects too. Often a color in your photo will be affected by more than one slider, so try experimenting with the TAT tool and see how they interact.

What is the HSL panel used for?

H stands for Hue, which is the color. S stands for Saturation, which is the purity or intensity of the color. L stands for Luminance, which is the brightness of the color.
