Object Styles

To open up the Object Styles panel, go to Windows , click on Styles and hit the Object Styles option. The Object Style panel at first will look empty, this is because you haven’t saved anything on it yet.

To save a particular object (textbox, images, shapes etc.) as a style, hold the Alt button on your keyboard and click on the object and tap on the plus sign at the lower right of the Object Style panel. This will pop-up a dialog box for saving the New Object Style . Everything on the new panel, relates to the object you selected. On the right hand side of the dialog box is the Style Settings which is everything you have applied on the object. On the left hand side is the Basic Attribute and Effects where you can make some changes. The Export options determine how the object goes out. After making changes if you did, input your preferred name for the object style and check the Preview box and Apply Style to Selection box, which is important because it makes the object that you’ve chosen to also have the style applied to it. If not checked, it may have the effect applied to it but it doesn't have the style name applied to it. When you are done click OK.
