Around the time the Mueller Dossier was released to the public, the report’s official lead author was videotaped looking befuddled as he was approached by a journalist. As Robert Mueller was about to enter his vehicle, he handed the car keys to his wife, and she went around to the passenger side to let him in.34 The moment carried particular irony for me. As a result of unofficial leaks portraying me as a traitor, I had been subjected to countless terrorist death threats. But Robert Mueller’s being mildly harassed by journalists actually doing their job was portrayed by many in the media as a dangerous attack on the public order.

Meanwhile, no one was being held accountable among the Democrats and government operatives who instigated this unnecessary process based on false evidence. But it wasn’t until I read his bestselling Mueller Report in spring 2019 that I learned that giving Robert Mueller the benefit of the doubt had been the wrong move.35 It was then that I realized, if anything, the Mueller Report had become another Dodgy Dossier.

The Mueller Report was released to the public on April 18, 2019. Similar to the DNC-funded Dodgy Dossier, it was hard to find a single sentence in the “Mueller Dossier” that didn’t mislead the public in some way. Now that the document has increasingly been rendered moot with subsequent revelations that show the true intentions of these political prosecution perpetrators, I’ll spare you the point-by-point refutation. But the day did mark many important milestones and turning points.

Over a year earlier in February 2018, Adam Schiff had told reporters at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast, “there is already, in my view, ample evidence in the public domain on the issue of collusion if you’re willing to see it.”36 For three years, the media barrage on the Trump–Russia collusion narrative had plowed through all barriers like a runaway train. The arrival of the Mueller Report in the spring of 2019 started to siphon the steam from that train.

No American was charged with any crime related to the suborning of the U.S. election in a conspiracy with Russians. Several were hit with process crimes like charges of lying about relatively minor aspects of the investigation. Unrelated to his work on the Trump campaign, Paul Manafort went to prison for bank fraud and tax evasion. After hitting Roger Stone’s home with a dawn raid by a SWAT team, prosecutors could only get him for crimes related to the investigation.

Not a single crime related to the campaign or related to Russia in any significant way was identified. Given my position as the one Trump supporter who probably spent the most time in Moscow in 2016, this recognition held special significance to me. All the partisan Democratic challengers who tried prosecuting this series of show trials started to limp back to their old jobs without anything material to show for their expensive efforts.
