At first, the words “outrageous” or “absurd” may not come to your mind when you think of literature and art. The people who enjoy those things tend to be a bit more on the refined side and to many people, the subject matter can often be boring. But once you peel that first layer away, you quickly begin to see just how absurd the world of art and literature can really be.

Let’s face it, artists and writers are some of the most eccentric people on the face of the Earth. In fact, I think the word “eccentric” was probably invented to describe them!
