Chapter 11

At some point, she felt that the air was changing. She opened her eyes which had been closed during the flight due to her fear of heights, and saw that they were not flying forward, but upward. She looked at Indy and saw that he was extremely alert and maintaining a precise ascent. Something inside her signaled that there was something behind this, and that more surprises were in store for her. She decided not to make the effort to know, but to let go and allow the surprises to enter her present life. She trusted Indy, which left her free to enjoy the anticipation of what was

to come.

It didn’t take long to arrive. They soared upward with increasing speed, and she held tightly onto Indy. The fear froze her. The speed accelerated until they were both as one, twisting and spinning in a specific direction. Zyo8 was unable to identify the direction, and could only feel that they had lost sense of their physical bodies and had become two defined, faint fields connected to each other, in a structure that pierced the air until they reached a tunnel in the air expanse. “Didn’t the Eternal Master explain to you that Mission 586 is a no-fail mission and that there is not an iota of a probability that you will get lost in the cosmic expanse? You are responsible for a very large sector of souls and not one would risk losing you.”

“Make the coffee and be prepared to explain.”

“What do you mean?” Indy said, puzzled.

“That you should explain what you just said, and what is so special about me that I have security, supervision, and protection.”

“The Eternal Master didn’t explain it to you?”

“What did he have to explain to me? And if you’re already

asking, then apparently he didn’t. Perhaps you would be so kind as to do so.”

“I believe we have reached the point where you will receive the best explanation by merely seeing with your eyes.”

“What you’re trying to say is that my brain is not capable of comprehending so you will show me instead so that I might understand? Are we
